Once you leave our salon with your
new look, you will want to care for it properly
whether it is a new color, a wave or problem hair. We hope you
will find these
tips and techniques helpful.
COLOR
CARE
Wait 24 hours before shampooing your hair and
wash your hair in warm water only. (You would not
wash delicate fabric in hot water.)
Your stylist will recommend the proper shampoo
and conditioner to keep your hair looking its best
between visits.
If you have enhanced or changed your color, we
can custom blend a shampoo and conditioner for
you to use at home to keep your color looking salon
fresh.
We also carry the Goldwell line made for colored
hair. Your stylist will suggest which product is
best for you.
Be careful of the sun. It will fade your new
color and can damage your hair. We have hair products
containing spf to protect your color, and hair.
WAVE
CARE
Wait
24-48 hours before shampooing your hair after a texturing service.
Wash
your hair in tepid water only. (You would not wash a delicate
fabric in hot water).
Use
Definition Permed and Curly Shampoo and Conditioner- both
perfectly balanced to add moisture and strength with antioxidant
and UV protection.
For
added UV and thermal protection, use Definition Permed and
Curly Leave-In Foam Conditioner.
Use
Color conditioning Balm to maintain the freshness of your
color tone in between salon visits.
For
added reconstructive benefits, use a treatment recommended
by your stylist.
FINE HAIR CARE
Wash
your hair in tepid water only.
Use
a balanced shampoo and conditioner
for adding strength and volume to your
fine hair. Your stylist can recommend
the best products for your hair.
You
may want to use the Definition Color
and Highlights or Permed and Curly
Leave-In Conditioners as an alternative
for a very light conditioning benefit.
Use
a protein treatment once a week to
maintain strength on fragile ends.
Use
Color Styling Mousse or Soft Colors
to counteract any off-tones caused
by mineral buildup.
WELL
WATER
Look
into purchasing a shower head filter.
Lower
the water temperature when washing
your hair.
Use
Leave-In conditioners only.
Have
de-mineralizing treatments prior to
coloring.
Use
Color Styling Mousse or Soft Color
to counteract any off-tones caused
by mineral build-up.
